Season’s Greetings!

The grass is growing, the fruit blossom is showing its delicate colours, the bulbs are basking in the sunshine and Gwen the goose is laying her giant eggs! Spring is finally here, and here, at Seren Bach, we are about to embark on our spring clean ready to welcome our campers and be a small part of their adventures during the 2020 season.

We are aiming to reopen, weather permitting, at the end of March, the weekend of the 27th, so time to get your camping gear aired out, refresh the batteries in your fairy lights and think about how you’ll enjoy the beautiful British countryside this coming season.

Our winter hasn’t been all about putting our feet up next to a cosy fire and snuggling in with a good book, we have been working on a few things. Firstly we are excited to launch our new website, haycamping.com, where you’ll be able to contact us, find out about recent projects and browse our gallery of site pictures. Along with our Facebook and Instagram pages, you’ll find up to date news and general information about Seren Bach throughout the coming season. We will no longer be using Jot forms to book your pitch, all bookings will be taken through our website or by calling me direct on 07727125987.

Secondly, we are even more excited to have Lucie’s parents (some of you may remember them) relocate from the States to build their new home next to us. Part of the building work will include a studio apartment holiday let that will be available to rent out in 2021. This will undoubtedly disrupt the peace on site but all works are to be carried out to cause minimum disruption to the daily running of the campsite and our guests’ comfort and enjoyment of our serene site.

Above all let’s not forget that at the end of May, are the town’s big crowd pulling festivals – The Hay Festival and How The Light Gets In. We are close enough to these festivals to enjoy them and far enough away to retreat back to tents and campervans for a peaceful night’s sleep at the end of a busy day soaking up the festival vibe.

Booking and prepayment is essential during this time because we limit the amount of guests on site so that it never feels over crowded, leaving plenty of room between your camping neighbours, so peace and quiet are ensured.

Lucie, James, Fynn and Sam look forward to being a small part of your British summertime adventures! See you soon.
